What is SoftWave Therapy?
SoftWave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses acoustic-wave technology to target selected musculoskeletal tissues. Depending on the condition, it may be considered for certain tendon, joint, muscle, and soft-tissue problems. Treatment is designed to support the body’s natural healing response, improve mobility, and help reduce pain without surgery or injections. Because not every condition is appropriate for SoftWave Therapy, each patient is evaluated before treatment recommendations are made.

Does SoftWave Therapy Really Work?
Research has evaluated extracorporeal shock wave therapy for several musculoskeletal conditions, including plantar fasciitis and certain tendon disorders. Results vary depending on the diagnosis, treatment protocol, and individual patient. At Everybody’s Chiropractic, we recommend SoftWave Therapy only when the patient’s condition and examination findings indicate that it may be appropriate.
How Long Does a SoftWave Therapy Session Take?
SoftWave Therapy sessions are generally brief, although treatment time varies depending on the condition and area being treated. Gel is applied to the skin, and the SoftWave applicator is then used to deliver acoustic waves to the targeted tissues. Many patients can return to normal daily activities after treatment, although activity recommendations may vary by condition.
